I hope you are all enjoying your day off as much as I am! =) Today I want to introduce to your this lovely dear, Bri! She makes amazing headbands...I own one & adore it!

So please take a moment & get to know Bri-

I'm Bri! I'm a 24 year old college student, wife, DJ, and blog addict.

I've always had a serious passion for vintage. There is just something extra special, extra character to something that has been previously loved from not only another era, but another person, or many people. This business venture started out to be just something to keep me busy, but has turned into a full time love! I dream of being successful enough to build a little studio and make it a full time thing!

What inspires you most?
I'm inspired by a lot of things! I think inspiration comes in many forms! Whether it be the leaves on the trees, or the people in our lives! I really love photography, nature, color, and style!

What are you current projects?

I'm currently working day and night on a redesign and relaunch! It will include more beautiful headbands, more vintage, and vintage clothing and accessories!

I am starting my long weekend off styling this lovely headband made by Miss-Makes-Alot herself!

Now I'm off to a long weekend full of sleeping in, enjoyable reading, tennis & bike rides, yummy grill outs & lots of snuggle time with the hubby! =)

On Monday, I had a day off & my soon to be sis-in-law went shoe shopping for the wedding. Since we had such great success finding shoes, we had lots of time to shop the mall where we stopped off at Aldo & I picked up some lovely goodies-

I can't wait to try out my new summer colored nail polish! =)

I never walk out of Aldo without something =)

Which is why this past weekend I planted two kinds of peonies!


Now my are nowhere near these lovelies being that they are just a pile of dirt right now but I hope they grow into lovely bountiful bouquets!

I have finally have finished up & packaged all of my bows!

So get them while they're hot because they are very limited!

{lost party}

This past weekend we threw a Lost party for the series finale for my brother & soon to be sis-in-law & my cousin & his family. We had a lot of bodies in our little apartment but we had loads of fun eating from our yummy taco bar & of course it won't be a Lost party without some Dharma beer, cola & soda...

And then we finished off our dinner with some yummy Dharma milk chocolate...

Which my hubby loved!

Happy Monday loves!

I had the most amazing weekend enjoying the weather & I got an extra day to relax because I didn't have to work today! =) To help me celebrate my mini-vacation I would like to share with you this lovely feature-

Hi, I'm Tara. I'm a 30 something mommy to 2 little boys, Wesley is 3 and Nate is 1. I'm also a teacher. Right now I work half time in a Special Education classroom. As if all that wasn't enough, now I'm a steady crafter, blogger and maker and seller of fun stuff!

What inspires you most?
Lately I'm just happy to be creating things, whatever they are. I'm getting inspired by blogs, classes, books, things we need . . random ideas that pop into my head! It's like dominoes in my brain now that I've started this new adventure. I've also learned I am better off to just start from scratch and create something on my own than try to follow a pattern. Most likely I'll either do something wrong or end up modifying it anyway.

What are your top 5 fave blogs/sites?

www.oneprettything.com - all the work is done for you, I can't tell you how many tabs I end up opening. So many ideas!
www.etsy.com - I'm buying handmade as much as I can. Chances are when buying on Etsy no one is going to have the item already. I love seeing something and knowing it's so perfect for someone, it's such a fun, thoughtful process.
blogs by crafty mommies! - it's nice to see that even with little ones underfoot sneaking in some creative time is possible!
online classes - like Style School, Indie Biz 2.0 and Finally Easter . . . . I'm afraid I might be addicted to taking them. How convenient that there seems to be something starting somewhere just as something is ending somewhere else . . . .

What are you current projects?
Currently I'm working on making loads of stock for a craft sale I'm going to at the beginning of May. Counting books, juice pouch totes, and taggie blankies are going to be my main items. And what kind of crafter would I be if i wasn't creating new fun things for my own use, like name beanbags for my kids and rag quilts!

{new dresses}

My lovely dresses finally arrived all the way from Tokyo! I can't wait to wear them.

I might have to wear one on my upcoming anniversary date...but which one?!
